We are looking for a Marketing Specialist (Affiliates and Partners) to join the team at Flippa, reporting directly to our Head of Brand & Community.  This is an exciting entry-level role where you will be responsible for the recruitment, management, and development of Flippa’s Affiliate program, sponsored and influencer partnerships. 

This is predominantly a business development role, aimed at growing inbound leads to Flippa through the use of affiliate, content, blog, and referral partnerships.  The role will involve cross-functional collaboration with content marketing and design.

This role would be ideally suited to a hungry and dedicated recent Marketing graduate or someone with 1-2 years of industry experience.

This position will be based in the United States or Australia and ideally located in either Austin or San Francisco or Melbourne (Australia) to be part of our growing teams in these locations.  While the role can be performed remotely, in Austin we have an office that will be available when we decide to return.

As the Marketing Specialist (Affiliates and Partners) at Flippa, you’ll get to -  

• Recruit new affiliates and partners that align with Flippa’s brand and where there is a shared community interest

• Establish and continually building a list of target affiliates, partners, and influencers

• Establish growth in our inbound partnership originated leads

• Manage inbound inquiries and assessing the value of a partner

• Provide partners with content and ideas to continually revitalize the partnership

• Present insights and recommendations to drive sales and conversion for the channel

• Manage all day to day activities for the affiliate channel

• Manage the development of content or creativity for the partnership channel in coordination with design

Objective: 

• Build a prospect list and recruit partners to win leads to Flippa

Key Results:

• Achieve 150 active affiliates representing 200,000 in revenue for the year 

• Approach 100 new Influencer / Partnership channels monthly 

• Activate a minimum 2 new partners monthly (not including affiliates)

What you bring to the table - 

• 1-2 years previous affiliate experience with networks

• Proven ability to initiate new partnerships and discover new opportunities to drive business

• Numbers oriented, ability to work with finance to present ROI for partnerships

• Strong organizational, analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, and presentation skills with strong attention to detail

• Entrepreneurial spirit, ability to work quickly, efficiently, and strategically with a wide range of internal departments.

• Outstanding communication (verbal/written) and collaborator

• Enthusiastic team player with the flexibility to re-prioritize, multi-task, and switch tasks fluidly

• Self-motivated and takes initiative with an innovative mindset to drive new ideas and think outside of the box as an entrepreneurial leader.
